After participating in tweets and getting to know the network better helped me look at twitter in a much different light. Although I'll admit I'm definitely not fit to be in the categorization as a "twitter addict" but I can confidently say that I got more accustomed to using the program and taking advantage of people, companies, restaurants, or TV shows that you can follow.
Most of my tweets didn't really pertain to anything I believe was worth while to anyone following because they were more like descriptions of my day or how I was feeling. I enjoyed and had fun reading the MTV tweets, which predominantly feed you in on the latest gossip and the sites you can find them on. I can see how twitter is so successful, you can also see how this is reflecting the recent changes on facebook. Facebook has now set up the home page as your twitter may be, which is used by displaying people's statuses. This in itself shows the impact that it is having on the public and companies as well as the pressure it is now putting on other social networks.
I'm sure the more I use this network and the more friends I continue to build it will get me hooked as it has to most people.
